I have been using a Wadia Ipod Dock with a Peachtree Decco Intergrated Amp/DAC.  The Decco has many digital/analog inputs and analog speaker outs.  This has been sufficient until today when someone gave me a pristine set of: Stax SR-Omega and two black boxes:  ED-1 Monitor (Lamda) and a Tube Driven SRM-T1.  The units work just fine connected to the Wadia by itself however to get the signal through the Decco (DAC) and then to the Stax, it appears I will need to use the speaker outs to the Stax inputs.  Is this merely accomplished buy the use of male banana connectors that have a female RCA at the other end?  The best I could gather from what little is posted is that Stax recommends the output from the amp's speaker outs.  I would like to know if I am correct in my assumption?

Thanks a bunch!

BTW, I felt that the ED-1 Monitor function of expanding the soundstage lessened the dynamics of the few recordings I listened to.

Speaker outputs into RCA is a terrible idea and kills the T1 in an instant.  What you would need is a tape loop but since no new gear has one of those you'd have to settle for the preout.  Max out the volume control on the T1 and you should be all set.

As for the ED-1, that was only intended for use with the SR-Lambda Pro.  The EQ is way off for other Stax models...
