so i bought a firebox a couple of days ago and it seems that the headphone output is busted.... audio only comes out of the right ear, but everything else seems to be working great. my headphones work well in stereo otherwise....

since i'm on a deadline to finish some vocal tracks.... i'm considering keeping the firebox if i can figure out how to monitor in headphones another way.

i was going to try a small external microphone amp (something around $50 perhaps) running out of the firebox's line output.... will this work? if so how do i hook it up?

I believe a headphone amp would work through the line out of your box. You can get cheap ones for around $50.

Its pretty easy to hook up, Line Out (of firebox) to Line In (Headphone Amp).
