This will cover part of our pre-orders as Shure is shipping less than our original order due to limited availability.

Just a side by side comparison, shape wise the UM2 and the E500 are very similar. The E500 earpieces are lighter than the UM2. The E500 is more round and the fit and comfort are excellent.

UM2 has slightly stronger bass and the E500 has stronger mids with a bit more detail on that range. I was glad to see the memory wire (as in the E5c) go. Some people loved those wires but note me.
