Hi All,
I have a modest setup (at least compared to some), a Schiit stack of lyr+ and lokius, an Apos Gremlin when I want a different sound and both supplied by either an smsl pl200 cd player or flac/high res files from my hiby R4 (either the stock dac or the dac in the pl200). Right now, I'm powering it with a 20 year old Wireworld strip, with a wireword power cable and no surge suppression or conditioning. Do I need/want to upgrade to something better? Been looking at the Audioquest PowerQuest 303 or 505, or maybe their cheaper 2 or 3, or maybe just something cheaper still with just surge suppression. The lyr and cd player have power cords, the Gremlin and lokius have wall warts. What does everybody think or suggest?

Kevin

I use the Cyberpower true sine wave 1500 watt which is the cleanest power you can get. It's constant power so it never switches like a regular UPS. On sale I think it was $129 and in 5 years the battery replacement is $44.
The Tripp Lite surge protector strips are great since when the material that protects wears out, it stops working. With most you won't know unless you see the red light come on.

Nice, thank you for that. The Cyberpower unit looks quite nice!
