Hey Everyone, thought I would start off my post with a story. I have a pair of Klipsch S4i's that I absolutely love ! I wear them every single day and are great for 60 bucks. That said, today I ran a 10 Km (6 mile) race with my wife. Part way through there was an open fire hydrant for fun to cool the runners down. Not thinking about it and just having fun I ran through it about 10 feet from the hydrant. So, I have learned a lesson about how much water comes out of a fire hydrant having never been close to an open one before. My S4's still work but I have a feeling they may have suffered some damage as the sound was a big muffled after that. I am letting them dry and they should probably be okay, that said if they aren't they aren't super expensive.Anyways this got me thinking about working out/running and just general ease of use. I have decided to also get a pair of bluetooth headphones. After reading I had decided on the Jaybird Bluebuds X sport. I can get them for 169.99 here in Canada. Anyone have an information on these headphones, The bluetooth, the battery life, the controls, mic, and apparently the sound quality is quite good for what they are. Just wondering if anyone had any insight for me on these guys ? Thanks !

Theres about 3 other threads on the jaybird bud x. They have good battery life, good pairing distance, sound quality is pretty good in my opinion for bluetooth, sound sig isn't neutral (probably a V shape but so is the s4), it has a lifetime warranty against sweat, I've been using mine for 8 months and it is still like new, and I would suggest getting some t-500 or ts-500 comply foams for it. Controls work great and the mic is good as long as you dont have it wrapped over your ear. I wear it like this but when I want to use the mic for a call, I wear it with the wires going straight down.

Fantastic thanks ! I did actually read the couple other threads about them but I figured I would post something and maybe get some new users of them and stuff. Think I might pick up a pair tomorrow. I play a lot of golf by myself and I listen to music while I walk the course. It would be amazing to leave my phone/ipod in my bag while I walk and just slip them off to shoot. I think they would be great for me.

I don't think too many people have them as they are probably not on the level of audiophiles. However, I think they still sound quite good for what they are. I think you will enjoy them coming from the S4. I had the Shure se535 when I got the jaybird and I could tell the jaybird wasn't as good but was still acceptable for normal use. I am getting a pair of customs now but I bet I will still use the jaybirds when the convenience outweighs the sound.
