I recall someone mentioning a portable DVD player available in Japan only, that many audiophiles there use on the go... The link's on Headwize, and there's no way I can navigate a Japanese website..

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, and has a link, I'd sure appreciate you posting it..

I remember that it's sold in the US, too. The link below is for the next model up. The PDV-10 also appears on the pioneer site, but without a picture. Hope this helps!

Neat. I found it earlier, and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on using them as CD players.

The Panasonic DVD-PA65, and the DVD-LA85 (The latter being the former _with_ a 7" screen and an included Li-Ion battery) even sport DVD-A decoding!

There's also a Sony - DVP-F5


Anyone ever used any of those units? How do they sound?
