Looking for some answers regarding a portable device for am/fm/tv audio. My Better Half is a Professional house painter and she likes to listen to the TV shows while working. Over the years she has been through many different systems as they were destroyed by her job. She currently uses a walkman but due to the extensive paint on it I can not find any model numbers.
So the issue/question is regarding the dtv conversion in February. When they stop transmitting analog TV Signals I doubt her Walkman will work any longer for tv??? Is there a device that will work??
I have tried the search function here and been very frustrated (probably due to my improper use of acronyms)
I am not looking for something of very high quality. Typically we get a year from a device before it gets dropped from a ladder or into a bucket of paint or destroyed in some other type of accident. A source unit less than $100 US and preferable less than 50 would be very nice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please go easy with the acronyms
