After my trip to Taiwan over spring break I realized I need some better portable gear. Not being able to take my home setup with me was hell
Anyhow I have a D25 and E90 MD player, with E888s(Not a sony whore, but sounds like I am doesnt it
) I tried the etys and realized that they werent my cup of tea, I can't stand the paranoia of not being able to hear whats around you. Also tried the ksc 35/50/portas. While I love their sound, they all hurt my ears or dont fit well(I got huge ears). Don't like the V6s either as they only sound good with some types of music. I will probably get a portable amp of some sort, thinking about the Porta Corda and the cha47. Biggest requirement is a good midrange, and recessed highs would be a plus. Anyone have suggestions for me?
