I've been looking for a while to figure out what sort of portable headphone amp I'd want(given that I'm on a budget) and I've run across this page: http://www.fixup.net/tips/pktamp/ which seems to offer a pretty decent amp for not too much money. Unfortunately, since I don't know too much about the builder or the design(beyond that it is based on the META42 and influenced by the CHA-47 and CMoy designs...) I was wondering if anyone here has used such an amp and how good it sounds. Thanks in advance.
