Porta Corda Mk II to SR-71-- what can I expect?

I think I'm gonna make this rather large financial jump and was wondering what sorts of improvements in sound I can expect going from the Porta Corda Mk II to the Emmeline SR-71. I'm using an iPod Mini, Sik Ram Din and Beyerdynamic DT770-80's.
