The X10 & X10c come with a 4 conductor detachable cable that is unfortunately available only with a single ended connector on the source end. Pioneer does not advertise that the wiring up through the mini-XLR 4 pin jack on the left cup carries a balance signal with the following pin out. You could reterminate the OEM cable with a balance connector of your choice or you could take the easy way out and just order this cable from Hart Audio: HC-8: 4-Pin Mini XLR (Female) Balanced Headphone Cable
