Hey guys. I know literally nothing but the very obvious regarding streamers.
Currently i connect my phone to my amp/dac using a USB cable and stream tidal, qubuz etc from my phone to my headphones.
What would i gain by using a dedicated streamer (for example, the wiim pro) let's say i connect the wiim pro to my amp/dac. I still use the phone to control the streaming so what am i gaining apart from not having to connect the phone via usb.
Is there any audible benefit or am i literally paying to just go wireless?
Is there any possibility that my current set up of connecting my phone via usb transits noise and going from a streamer to my dac /amp combo may result in a cleaner better sound?
