Is there a portable CD player anywhere that has an optical digital out on it? I've never seen any portable gear with an optical out jack, but it would be very convenient for high-quality recording to MiniDisc on the go.

most of the high end sony pcdp's now have them.

The ones that i know have them are the sony 721, 725 (same model), 915, 925, 825, 1000, 01....

i want a 925...waiting for prices to drop since the 1000 replaces it...but its still $300, the same as the 1000 in Canada...
