So I've got my PC and my PS4 connected to a DAC/AMP (FX Audio Dac-X6) which is outputting to a K712 Pro.

It goes like this:-

PC----->USB in on DAC/AMP----->K712 Pro
PS4----->Optical in on DAC/AMP----->K712 Pro

Because of the nature of this DAC/AMP it is incredibly easy and great to change where the audio comes from via the switch on the front, if I want audio from my PC to the headphone I switch input to USB, if I want audio from my PS4 to the headphone I switch input to Optical, it's on the fly switching.

How would I go about adding a microphone into this system/setup?

Is there any way to set it up similarly to how the audio for the headphone is set up where I can just switch inputs on the fly and that's it?

Is there a way to do it and how?

Really need help on this.

The PC's on-board audio comes with a line-output (mic) port, which you should be able to use while the PC outputs audio thru USB.
But does the PS4 comes with a dedicated line-input (mic)?

The PS4 can only output audio through HDMI and Optical. It has a 3.5mm jack on the controller which you can plug just a mic into but that's more inconvenient because then you would have 2 wires hanging off you and outputting audio/chat through the controller affects it's battery life a lot more. It would be best if you could somehow plug the headphone AND the microphone into the dac/amp and just switch on the fly when needed.

Unfortunately, the signal only travels downstream from the source to the headphones through the DAC/AMP, a microphone can't transmit information back upstream through the amp/dac to the PS4/PC.

The PS4 can't accept a USB microphone?

DAC/amps do not come with line-inputs (mic), anything that comes with a DAC & amp & Mic input are usually called a sound card or Audio Interface.

It definitely can accept a USB microphone but that's not the issue. I want a similar scenario with the mic like it is with the headphones where I can just flip a switch on the dac/amp and I get audio for whatever source I switch it to. I don't want to have to plug and unplug the microphone whether it's USB or 3.5mm from the PC to the PS4 and vice versa constantly because the ports are in hard to reach places. It would make it so much easier if I could control what source the mic is connected to just like I can with the headphones with the dac/amp.
