I stumbled across this artist, and I'm loving this CD. Got it on Amazon.com from a third party seller out of the U.K. Great voice! He reminds me a bit of Joe Cocker with a less inflection. I listened to his latest on iTunes and I like this earlier CD better. Of course when I think of Cocker I think of Belushi's SNL skit

If you like Paul Weller, check out his previous two bands, The Jam and The Style Council. The Jam was one of the first Punk Rock bands in the UK and then developed into Power Pop/Mod Revival and later had Soul/Rhythm & Blues influences. When Paul Weller broke up The Jam, he formed The Style Council which continued with the Soul and then New Wave style.

Definitely pick up one of the Greatest Hits/Best of jobbies from The Jam. They're all good, and chock full of great songs.
