Hello guys,

One of bad things that i read about ANC headphones is that the technology is not good to block high frequency and sudden noises, like fireguns or fireworks. However, most of noise cancelling over-hear headphones they have a passive isolation in the earmuffs that helps to reduce the high frequency noises, but less than the traditionally hearing protection headsets.

But I prefer the ANC headphones than the hearing protection headsets because I prefer listen music or white noise to mask the sudden noises. So i think that the passive isolation, ANC and music/white noise combination should help to reduce more that noises.

I have the Bose QC35 but I'm thinking to buy the Sony MDR-1000Xm2 (better ANC i read), but im not sure if the 1000x earmuffs are better than the QC35 in the passive isolation. I read some reviews saying that the QC35 earmuffs they block more noise than 1000x, but I read too reviews sayung that 1000x earmuffs they block more noise than QC35. I read too about the new Beats Studio 3 Wireless Headphones and they say that the ANC it's better than the Bose QC35, but I don't know how is the passive isolation.

My intention it's mask the sudden noises the best possible because I am very sensible with sudden and repentine noises and this technology (ANC) it's helping me a lot in my day to day.

What of these three headphones it's better in the passive isolation, the Bose QC35 ( QC35 II), the 1000X (1000xm2) or the Beats Studio 3?

Thanks.
