Hi All,

I'm going to build a second cmoy amp and after having a bit of a problem with some minijacks I ordered on my own, I seek advice on parts

Part numbers from major vendors are welcomed.

Things I need help choosing:

-Power supply connectors: I noticed sijosae uses these plastic, white connectors to change power sources on the fly. After having my power cable yanked out twice, I would like to use these. What are they technically called?

-Sijosae also uses these sockets for ALL of his components not only his ICs. Any idea what these are?

-nice helping hands? I heard Tangent is using a set made by X-acto, any others?

-good RCA jacks?

-good minijacks? (the ones in the Cmoy article look good, any others?)

-good shrink tubing in a variety pack?

-I'm looking for a nicer looking alternative to toggle switches. Any recommendations?

If you even so much as visit your local Rad Shack (or equivalent) and browse around, you can find virtually everything you listed....

Sijosae uses SIP (Single Inline Package) sockets.

Good RCA's are Cardas GRFA or WBT Topline's if you are willing to pay for them. Get these from online stores like Percy Audio or Welborne Labs, just to name a few.
