i have not heard very much about p-mount cartridges. i was planning on getting some Grado DJ100i cartridges to replace my Shure SC35C's on my numark tt1625's. i saw however that on TTVJ the grado cartridge you had to select from regular or p-mount. now i have no clue which to buy, which will work on my turntables, if either have any advantage over the other. if it helps, i'd be doing a lot of scratching. thanks.

P-Mount/T4P is a different mounting system. What you need is either a standard 1/2" mount cart like the Grado, which will then be mounted to a standard headshell, or constructions like like Ortofon's Concorde series, which eliminate the extra headshell and directly connect to the end of the tonearm.
