ordered new source, what do you think?...

i was gonna get a denon or rotel, but when i got to the dealer, i fell in love with the marantz dv6400. i always here good things about marantz, and compared to the other two, the price was most appealing (paid $395 + tax).
so what do you guys think?

well, i do care what others think, to an extent. i figured that marantz is good stuff and i did get a good price on it, but if i had 10 members say "that player is not good, it has issues, cancel the order and get something else" then i care about what people think.

Ultimately, you do have to let your own ears guide you, since it's your money and your rig. But if you don't have access to a lot of different options to test out, there's nothing really wrong with following the general reputation of something either. Just so long as you don't assume that people know better than you do.
