So while listening to a variety of different music using Foobar 2000 using the WASAPI plug-in and also to Spotify using the Fidelity plug-in (using ASIO), I am 100% positive that the right side of my headphone is louder than the left.

My setup is Windows 10 desktop USB>Modi 2>Little dot 1+> Grado SR80e.

I'm positive because when my amp is at 0-5% volume I CANNOT hear anything out of the left side. It's only when I bump it past 5% that the left side kicks in. At first I had a mini-panic attack thinking I was going hard of hearing in my left ear but I switched the headphones around and breathed a huge sigh of relief when I also couldn't hear anything out of my right ear.

Why is this? Has anyone else noticed this with their setup? Where could the fault lie?

A channel imbalance at low volume isn't uncommon with amps that use analog volume control

It is a very common problem with inexpensive volume potentiometers that the channels can be imbalanced at low settings. Try lowering the volume in Windows or your player software, which will allow you to raise the volume on the amp, hopefully to a point where the channels are more balanced. If the volume knob is imbalanced everywhere, the only solution might be to replace it, or use software settings to compensate for it.
