Hey Everyone,
This has been really bugging me and I'm wondering if someone could shed some light.
Eight years ago I bought a pair of SONY tmr-RF915r cordless on-ear headphones they have been nothing short of fantastic. GREAT bass and full range. Now, the battery doesn't last as long and I'm starting to get static in the signal more. I decided to purchase a new pair of cordless cans.
I was pleased with my sony phones so I bought another pair. SONY mbr-rf985rk over-ear headphones. I have been less than pleased. The signal is strong and I get no static whatsoever, but the sound is less than desirable. There is no bass and lots of highs. Its just too bright. Do I have to wait for them to get worked in a bit? Am I missing something here? Is there something I can adjust in the transmitter or the headphones themselves? Ergonomically they are amazing, but sound wise not.
Old SONY tmr-RF915r cordless on-ear
30mm drivers
20hz-20000hz range
NEW SONY mbr-rf985rk over-ear
40mm driver
10-20000hz
I have used the new cans for less than two hours. Again maybe I need to burn them in?
Any advice welcome.
Cheers
