It wasn't head-fi - supposedly Audeze. Said I could return it. He was called Reference Analog but google maps showed a residential location. He said he had new LCD-5s in the case & I could buy them / return with warranty.

Really want a place that has them open for me to try. Feel so crappy about the idea of returning a $4K-5K item if I don't like it.

I make sure with Audeze to see if he is an authorized dealer.
5k is not a small amount of money so definitely test the cans before you buy them.

I'm more for portable audio ( transportable really, who am I kidding ). I'd say I have found my endgame for a while. Really happy with what I have but always trading to try new stuff out, Im actually looking for a Diana v2 right now try out.

I love the Cayin C9. I just sold it and awaiting the C9II.

The C9 is great, and I really enjoy the smaller size compared to my Wa8, but It's just not as good as my Wa8, which is unfortunate due to all its features and generally better portability.

Wow, no kidding, great lineup. I love DCA, the E2 has been my favorite headphone to date, traded that a few ago to try out the Kenerton Odin v2 ( really neutral, but extremely good in terms of technical performance )
