How can you fall asleep with Grados? They're so uncomfortable, and they sound bright and unbalanced.

No way, I think Grado's are comfortable. I know that my RS-1s are, at least, simply because of its light weight. They just disappear as I flow with the music.

Can't explain it man. But I did it again earlier this evening. Put on Neil Young - Harvest Moon and heard about 40 minutes than went out like a light.

They must have soothing properties that just send me to sleep.

BTW, i'm listening to "The Best Of Little Feat" at the mo on my DT531's and it rocks. Great music.

Well, they do have that nice warm sound to it, but the other characteristics just overpower that soothing factor.
