I just got my ODAC in the mail from Mayflower Electronics, and it simply doesn't want to work at all.  I've tried it on several different computers with a couple different USB/3.5mm audio cables and it just won't feed sound to my O2.  It's perfectly recognized in windows and when audio plays the mixer does show activity, but I'm not getting any audio whatsoever.

Does anyone know what might be causing the issue?

1.)  Check your volume settings and especially make sure they are not muted
2.)  Check that the ODAC is selected as the output device in the player.  In Foobar2000 for example this is a must.
3.)  Do all of the devices including the O2 appear to have power

Yeah, I know how to make sure everything is set up correctly.

I actually solved the issue.  After doing a bit of research, I found out that whoever assembled it accidentally forgot to solder two sets of jumpers on the bottom.  Did a quick test by holding two "jumpers" fashioned from spare bits of wire to the leads, and sure enough it worked just fine.

Gonna have my friend do a quick solder job since he's got an iron.

I just had the same problem...  Switched from a USB 3.0 to a USB 2.0 port, problem solved.  Thought they were supposed to be backwards compatible but apparently not on my PC.

Unforunately USB 3 is still fairly buggy.  When it works, it's fantastic, but when it doesn't, it's a huge pain.  Hopefully those issues will be worked out relatively soon.
