OT, where are some good hi-fi shops around Sac?

Umm, I guess you and I are the only ones that live in/near the River City. As far as Hi-Fi shops.....AudioFX on Howe Ave. is the only retail place that I know of that carries high end equipment.

I am sure you can find some great places in The City or in San Jose.

i only know of one

and thats right next to valley fair mall the store is Magnolia HI-Fi < hi end speakers in their too (martin logan electrostatic speakers) but they only seem to have low end grados and some of the sennheiser models. And i think they carry the grado amps < not sure was a little unclear on that when i was talking to the salesman.

Theres a nice little Hi-Fi shop The Analog Room in San Jose. Its at Meridian and Fruitdale, next to a gas station(forget which one). Its a little bit out of view and has no signs, so you will probably have to walk around to find it. Its a reddish brown wooden building if you are really interested. They carry a lot of turntables and phono type components. The owner seems to like tubes a lot. They also sell some used LPs, overall the people are pretty nice. Let me and my friends listen to some of the guys personal LPs in one of the listening rooms, all I can say is
