I currently have a pair of LCD-2 Fazors, I really love them but I want to upgrade/sidegrade sooner or later.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out?
I'm alright with the weight of the LCD-2 and the comfort, and I really like the sound but I wish the soundstage was a tiny bit bigger, and they had a bit more analyitcal-ness to them. A little less weight would be fine with me, it's not that the weight bugs me, it's just that it'd be nice if they were lighter.
Would HD800 be the next step up? Looking at the frequency response of my LCD-2 Fazor and an HD800, there isn't much difference in the bass/mid range, just the HD800 has a few extra DB of treble. (Which I'm OK with)
I'm currently using a Lyr as my amp if that helps.
