I just ordered dt770/80s, my computer has a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Card. I will be purchasing an amp, my question is, should I purchase an amp with a DAC or will my soundcard be sufficient. I'm looking at the Headroom Total Bit if I purchase an AMP/DAC combo, thanks.

I have an iBasso D1. It is an Amp/Dac in one. I am using it right now with my hp pavilion and it sounds great. The sound gets a lot better when using the iBasso dac.

The bithead is also a good choice, it will improve the sound too.

Go with the Total BitHead... The Audigy 2's sound quality is not very good relative to current offerings.
