i think the japanese have something about 7 and metal housing canalphones - hje-70, ck7 and now fx77.

I wont get it, Im happy with my cx 300 but still its always interesting to hear new IEMs (hence my intrusion)

true. I would've thought all their fancy "flagship" earphones etc would've had an 8 in them instead since its supposedly much more lucky (...hence the e888).
