post processing = gimmick IMO. certainly not what I would call purist methodology

The SU-DH1 is not new, it was released back in 2006.
If you search the forum you will find many threads about it.

how do the headphones produce the surround sound. has anybody tried this with a dvd. or any 5.1 music.

been around for a few years at least
