Hey guys!

First off, this is my first time posting so I hope I am doing this correctly! I have really been into music for as long as I can remember, and love anything from jazz to classic rock to Avenged 7X type of metal. So I am looking for a versatile system with good sound. I went through my Beats phase and had Bose Quietcomfort headphones, but recently upgraded to some Audio-Technical ATH-M50's and totally love them. I'd love any suggestions on how to better the sound even more! I've been looking at some headphone amplifiers but don't know where to begin. I normall play out of a MacBook Pro, or an iPod or Droid Turbo phone. Any suggestions for a kick-a** setup?

You can raise your game, starting with the following:

1.  Get high quality music files.  See:

http://www.cepro.com/article/7_facts_audiophiles_need_to_know_about_digital_music/

2. Improve your equipment delivering that music to your cans.  There are many quality DAP's that deliver FLAC and other file formats in a quality way.  IBasso, FiiO, HiFiman Astell & Kearns and others offer such products.  DAC's, sound cards, etc. are available, but may or may not work with all of what you have.

3. Updgrade your cans and add an amp if needed.  Check out the Buying Guide:

4. Keep your hand on your wallet!
