I've been using a 2013 Astro Mixamp Pro with Pioneer SE-A1000 headphones for the last 8 years or so. The headphones have finally had it so it's time for an upgrade.
I'm thinking of using the setup indicated in my title. A new Astro Mixamp Pro TR and the Hifiman HE400SE planar headphones. These will be my first planar headphones. Does anyone have experience using this type of headphone for gaming vice conventional drive headphones? Impedance shouldn't be an issue as the HE400SE's are 25 ohms.
