Should there be a new category under head gear and portable source components for mobile phones?
 
The number of people using phones as music players seems to be rapidly increasing.
At least around uni and on public transport etc.

Bumping this but for a different reason.
 
The "source component" sales forum contains both desktop and portable devices. I refer a fair few friends of mine to this site, mostly to the source component classifieds, from which they find the price bracket and read the relevant reviews. If there were a division between desktop and portable (transportable, suck as the O2 being conjoined with one of them) it would make the locating of such items much easier.
 
There are at time of writing, 39 pages of classifieds in this field, and whittling it down to the correct format and price bracket, with the desirable ship-ability, and relevance can be a hassle.
 
I haven't looked for an amp myself, but I imagine such a division there may be welcome as well.
