These are top of the line, closed back Alpha Prime headphones by Mr. Speakers.
They resemble the original Alpha Dog on the outside, but they include a re-engineered Fostex T50RP driver that delivers unprecedented clarity, dynamics and detail for closed-back headphones.
Pure and simple, this prime upgrade was about tuning and improving the driver, and changing the voicing to reflect the improvements. We think its a work of sound art.
Add a Moon Audio Black Dragon V2 headphone cable below to further tighten up the bottom end and add more depth to the musicality.
Driver Upgrade
The Alpha Prime's modified driver is an extensively modified version of the legendary Fostex T50RP planar driver.
The new driver allows the Alpha Prime to have a smoother frequency response, increased clarity, a wider soundstage, harder-hitting yet faster and more linear bass, and improved dynamics.

The Alpha Prime is faster with more detailed and textured mids, smoother highs, a better balance, and holographic soundstage and imaging. Every sound source is not only in the right place, it occupies the right space.
