Hi:
Just bought my first in ear phones(KZ ATE'S) and I can't keep them from falling out,or not sealing??....I have tried all the tips that it came with and still they fall out,or if I can keep them from falling out, they are very uncomfortable....
They are a weird shape and I am not used to them (I am used to the tapered or round roll up foam plugs)...anyways,does the wire have to go over the ears??...tried to find some images of someone wearing them, but not much?!
My Doc once said my ear canals go in and up...maybe that's the problem?!
Sorry for the dumb and obvious question..... Help please. Thanks,Huck

Yep the wires goes around the ear. Search up how Shure's IEM are meant to be worn, the ATE are worn the same way.

You could try foam tips but a pack of those cost more than the IEM itself...

I think I may just have to pass on these 'in-ears'....I have tried it with the connectors (wires) up and over the ears, different size tips and all I am getting is sore ears....left ear is not too bad,but right must have a misshapen ear canal as the unit just hangs in the ear when using the 'over the ear' method. The only way I can get them to seal properly with out sounding tinny is to have the wires hanging down in front...even then,I have to hold one tip in to make a good seal. Like you say,the foam tips are almost as much as the KZ's?!
I checked out all the videos on the Shure's and still can't get it!
Maybe I will give them to the wife.......I really prefer over the ears headphones anyways. Thanks,Huck
