I hope this hasn't already been posted somewhere.. I couldn't find anything.
I needed an attenuator for an amp I was building, and after a lot of searching I came across a new design from Khozmo that fitted my requirements (I really wanted remote control).
This isn't on his website yet, but will go up in the next few days I believe.
It's a 64 step switched relay design, with constant input impedance, inbuilt remote, volume display, and it also still has manual shaft functionality via an encoder.
He'll build them with smd resistors or boutique, I went for the smd version as I needed a quad and it gets pretty big.
It arrived today and I wired it straight up and ran through it with a couple of DMMs attached.
So.. I haven't used it in the amp yet as that's still a while off, but it would seem to be a really clever design with a host of useful features.
I really couldn't find much anywhere else about these or any reviews.. this is all I found: http://www.dsachsconsulting.com/khozmo%2064%20step%20remote.html
This pic is not the one I bought, but one of the pics Arek sent when I first enquired.
