NEW IEM'S FROM ROCK IT SOUNDS

I recently got in touch with Rocky Sharma @ Rock It Sounds regarding the R50, and learnt that there was actually some new IEMs in the works.  Currently, the new models are still in prototype testing stages, so there aren't too many technical specifications to go around.  However, here's the information that I can share, so let's get started:

1. New model body design could* split to two models (single driver and dual driver).
   1. Rockit currently uses Knowles Drivers.  However, new prototype drivers from Knowles are also being tested, which is something that's pretty exciting!
2. New IEMs will be rocking (no pun intended) MMCX connectors with detachable cables.
3. Optional cables available for iPhone/Android versions.
4. Optional pure silver cable (limited quantities) available.  
5. Rock It will be working with Comply, so new products will include Comply foam tips.
6. Pending Finalization/ Not Confirmed: A patented & anatomically designed fitting kit.

 
In other news, the R50 will be getting a facelift to improve ergonomics.  It will also now come with Comply foam tips.  And as always, Rock It Sounds will be using fully biodegradable materials in its packaging in an effort to make their products greener.

Very interesting. The Rockit R50s were my first true love in my IEM journey, and till this day, the magic upper mids remain one of the best I've heard so far.
