Hi, first I am an older person (77) and not very good with computers, etc... Just took delivery of a HiBy R4. Purchased it to replace a HiFi Walker H2 that I bought early last year (to replace my Apple Ipods) but it does not play music via the USB port which was the one reason I purchased the R4. So anyway at this point with the I have moved the microSD card from the HiFi H2 to the R4 (it has about 1300+ Flac music racks/songs on it which were all digitized from my CD collection (not downloaded off the internet...I do not know how or do that). have powered up the R4, chose United States English and Eastern Standard time and thats as far as I have gotten with it. I only want to be able to play the music tracks/songs via the USB port and headphone and out-put jacks and play my music in random/shuffle mode. So at this point I do not have the slightest idea which options to pick to make it work this way. I am hoping that someone will be able to send me a detailed list of "steps" to be able to do this. (there are so many different options and images to choose from and I do not know what most of them are for. Have not been able to find a users manual of any kind on the internet just the users guide that does not list steps on how to do things with the R4 (copy came with the R4) it only shows what the buttons do not how to use them. Anyway maybe I am out of my element here with the R4, would hate to have to return it because I am not able to get it to work the way I want. I already have contacted HiBy hoping to be able to talk to someone on the phone but they will not do that for whatever reason (so much for Customer Service). Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Hiby R3 Pro somewhere. From memory, I think if you go to Settings>Scan media, your songs will be visible. Thereafter access your library>Songs, then the shuffle icon and play.

Sorry I can’t be more helpful. There are a lot of Hiby R4 users on the digital audio players subforum on Reddit. I’m sure they could help.

EDIT - Ifound this on Reddit:

In the media player, under the music tab you should see something like "Sequential Play / Total xxx" for your list of music. Tap on the words "Sequential Play" to toggle modes.
