I've been browsing this site for quite a while (the reviews are really helpful) and figured after lurking for over a year it was about time I join the community.
I'd appreciate some help from you more knowledgeable folks on here about where to buy a 3.5mm CTIA (TRRS) female to a 3.5mm stereo (TRS) male adapter.
The reason I need these is I bought a pair of Sennheisers with an inline microphone and on my amp they sound terrible because the ground pin on the amp output comes into contact with the mic pin on the headphones, not the ground pin.
Here's what I mean (wiring diagram): http://i.imgur.com/7QQyODn.png
I tried Googling but all I got were balanced TRRS female to TRS male adapters. Shure seems to make the adapter I need (https://www.provideocoalition.com/ts-trs-trrs-trrrs-combating-the-misconnection-epidemic) but I can't find it for sale anywhere.
I can fix the problem by pulling the jack out a tiny bit but that's inconvenient and takes a lot of fiddling with the jack. I'm not too experienced with soldering so I'd rather avoid buying jacks and cables and soldering them myself.
It'd be also nice if the adapter is not too pricey - I don't need a super high-end cable.
Thanks in advance.
