I'm having a senior moment here. Can anyone remind how how to cancil a thread. I went to edit thread and I can't find end or delete thread.

Sometimes, if you put something like "[Mods, please delete this thread]" in the thread title and explain your reason in the first post, it can be deleted.

There is an "edit thread" option at the top of the page which would allow you to change your first post.

You an also use the red flag at the bottom of your first post that is normally used for reporting spam or trolling. You can use it to contact the moderators.

I should have been more specific, wih at I'm trying to do is close a "for sale ad" thread on an item that sold.
