NEW Grado PS 1000 headphones!!!

My situation here has more to do with not wanting to buy it twice. I know I could do a 30 Day trial from some places, but I don't like to wear that privilige out. Just hoping I can resist buying these long enough to hear some impressions on stock vs recabled (doubt I can

). I don't necessarily think the recabled will be better, that's part of my indecision.
It's not really the same, but I did try the stock GS1000 before buying it recabled. It was still a "blind" purchase as far as not having heard recabled, but I read some good impressions/comparisons here first. I feel there are tradeoffs, but have come to prefer the recabled GS1000 overall.

It looks like the PS1000 will be shipping in mid June. I will know more after CanJam.

Any new updates or feedback on this?

HI All,

6 of the PS1000 shipped out yesterday. I expect to have some more very soon. They may trickle in for a while but I should have all of my orders shipping in the next few weeks.

I received mine last might. I posted a quickie comparison with the HD800 elsewhere on the board. I have previously owned the PS1 and I feel the PS1000 are an upgrade to it as they present better detail and a more prominant midrange and treble (but it has been a few years since I owned the PS1). In addition, I am finding that they are also less forgiving of bad recordings than the PS1 and L3000 so I'm hoping someone can perform a quality remastering of the early AC/DC albums

HI All,

3 more of the PS1000 headphones are shipping out this week to our customers. I expect them to continue to trickle out for a month or so and then they should become more readily available. All fo our current orders will be filled soon.
