I'm looking at upgrading some of my equipment but I'm not sure where to put the money. My current setup is:

Source: iPhone 4S and Fiio ANDES-E07K (also listen from my macbook pro)
IEM: Earsonic SM3 (primary)  & TF10 (occasional use)

I like the SM3s much better than the TF10 as they are not as fatiguing as the SM3 and they are a MUCH better fit.

I'm thinking of getting some Perfect-seal Fusion 11s partly to get better sound and partly to get a more comfortable fit by going to CIEMs

Is this a good way to go or will be Fusion 11s be wasted given the source equipment I'm using? Should I put money into a better source than IEMs?

Any other thoughts or recommendations?

I asked something like this a few months ago.

The general response was " As long as your source isn't crap and can sufficiently power your IEMs/Headphones, upgrading your IEMs/headphones will give you a bigger increase in SQ"
