Hey there... unfortunately, i broke my V6's... yes, i actually blew up the tank! stoopid rocket launchers dont come with a manual :/
anyway, gluegun, who is a regular here, awhile ago told me about v6's (im a regular at tranceaddict.com), and after listenin to him, and reading countless threads about them both on here and headfi, i just had to get them... and wow, i was soooo amazed by them... i was so impressed i just had to go after the beyer pads too... i mean, im in love with these cans...
well, now that they're broken, i'd like to ask you all if you could once again point me in the right direction

i was hoping there'd be someone who could tell me the part number and where i could order that part so i could fix my cans? the part is the U shaped plastic piece, that goes around driver (left side) and which at the other end is connected to the joint and enables the driver to be folded...
i've colored the piece in this pic... just remember, its the left side i need, i dunno if it makes any difference...
so yea, if someone could let me know what the part # is, and where do i order it, i would very much appreciate it... please help me as i love these cans and it saddens me not to be able to use them
THANKS

Sony is a total rip-off for parts. One new driver from Sony (if they will ever answer your inquiries) is more than etronics.com charges for NEW V6's (about $64 inc s/h).
Short answer- if you cannot glue (epoxy) your piece, buy new V6's.

If the bracket is broken so much that epoxy can't do it, try duct tape. If it's good enough for NASA, it's good enough for you

Plus, the Warren Miller production team has a pair of duct-taped V6. Tell your friends that, and they'll think you're cool.

BTW, sorry to hear your cans are broken

Just do a search on Yahoo for "duct tape". It should bring up many manuals on how to use the stuff. Also try http://www.ducttape.com/

well i use the cans for dj-ing... so i have to replace the parts... i cant go in fear they would break on me in the middle of the set or something... i actually found out the part number for the hanger, i just need the part number for the screw and that other square plastic piece that the screw screws into to connect the hanger and the thin piece of square metal connected to the joint... damn... i wish i had that parts sheet...

thanks for all your help tho.. i have them taped up at the moment, but they're so wiggly and uncomfortable to wear its not even funny.....

god i love these headphones tho! by far the best bang-for-the buck! EVER
