Hello,
Long story short, my old and trusty PX-100-II just broke last week, and now I'm currently looking for a replacement. However, that PX-100-II is actually the first "real" headphone that I bought, so I'm still very new to this audio stuffs, altough I do like music very much. So please bear with me for a while.
Basically, my budget is around $100 (preferably lower than that), and being living in a South East Asia country, my choice of headphones is not very wide. After doing some kind of research, I've resorted to the following choices, sorted according the price available in my country :
Well, kinda broad choices, isn't it? That's why I'm confused here, unlike computer parts, their benchmark graphs is very confusing, as they said that higher/lower isn't always better, so please lend me some of your wisdom
My requirement is not much, I just need a good sounding headphone (IEM and earplug isn't too comfortable for me), that's portable (I really like the folding features of PX series) for use in commute and office. I usually listen to wide range of music, and I'm not much of a basshead or treble freak, I always set my equalizer flat, I like my music to sound exactly like what it is.
The Grado SR60i is probably the one that I have most interest of (they look very cool, and seems to have a great sounds too), but I'm kind of concerned about the amount of sound leaks (my office cublicle is pretty quiet).
So, can you give me some advice or recommendations? Oh, and here's list of headphone that's available in my country :
