The amp was made by Eric a while back. It was working fine for the past few weeks on and off. I do carry it around a bid, so it gets its bumps. Today, as I turned on the amp, everything seemed to work fine, then about 5 seconds later, it began to hiss and then just died-no sound, no hiss (all with in 10sec).
It's not the batteries as the light is still bright and the samething occurs with with AC. Strange thing is that if I leave it turned off for a while and then turn it back on, it will work again for a few seconds an then dies. I must wait for at least 3-5 minutes before turning it back on to observe this; when I turn it off, and on again immediately, it just remains in its "dead" state.
Any guess to what is the problem? I really want to avoid having to send this back for repairs, so any suggestion would be great. I am also asking others from the DIY forum for help. Thanks.
