So, I'm totally new to portable amps...
I recently got a Asus Xonar D2X soundcard for my pc and was amazed by how much it has improved the sound.
My question is, is a portable amp comparable to a soundcard for pc?
I was looking at the RSA amps since they seem to have quite a good reputation and they also look quite stylish.
I own a pair of Shure 530, MTP Copper and Sennheiser IE8. But I also own the Monster Beats by dre Beats PRO headphones which require quite some juice. So the amp should be able to drive that with no problem and should be as small as possible.
Which one would you guys recommend?
The RSA page doesn't give you any information and you don't even know which ones are newer or older..

P.S: are there any differents between the amps besides their size and the different amount of power they can provide? maybe certain amps are preferred/made for certain types of genre?
