All, I would appreciate a little help trying to connect my A&K SE300 to the Kaei TAP1 Pro. I know I’m going into the TAP1 Pro using a 4.4mm input. What I don’t know is how to set up the SE300 to output the sound. My TAP1 Pro does not have a DAC, so, I need to use the streamer and DAC of the SE300 out to the TAP1 Pro…

BTW, the SE300 manual doesn’t address this (at least to my understanding)…

Help please…

You have to turn on the line out from the se300, this is my sp3000 but should be the same, and them connect to the headphone out of the player to the in of the amp with 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable or 4.4mm to 4.4.mm

There are several references to using the line out in the manual and comments of the linked review, I saw some on pages 24, 25 and 52 at least at a quick scan.

4 volts is the standard balanced input line level and I would imagine the Tap1 would be the same, you can use a little lower input voltage and use a higher volume setting on the amplifier.

I don't have that DAP or amp so can't help beyond that but that looks like all you need to know I would have thought.
