Recently lost a pair of Ultrasone HFI-780s 

 If they don't show up, does anyone have recommendations? I want to upgrade to something of similar/better quality in the $150-$280 price range. Got my HFI-780s on sale for $150 from Amazon last December. I would like something more portable than the Ultrasone HFI-780s and with a detachable aux cord.

What will be driving and feeding these cans?

I just want it to be of equal or better quality in terms of bass and overall sound. I was very pleased with the 780s. I plug the headphones directly into my computer, I do not use a driver.

If you're OK with open cans, you should consider the Philips Fidelio X1.
 
At this point you might want to wait until Black Friday, regardless.
