I know with the 8000A you can decouple the amp section from the pre-amp so the 8000A can be used as just a pre-amp. But what if I wanted to connect a second power amp to the 8000A's amp-in connector and use both 8000A amp and second amp at the same time so I can power a second set of speakers? Will the 8000A control both amps doing this and is it even do-able with the 8000A? A friend of mine thinks it will work but I want to make sure before I fork out for a second amp. Right now I am powering two sets of 8ohm speakers using a parrallel connection and even though the 8000A handles it with no problems I would rather not do it this way as it is making the amp draw more current than it was really designed for.
