Guess what, nimbus11? Neodymium magnets are nothing special; they're featured in most "high-performance" headphones from most brands. (In fact, AKG uses neodymium magnets in its headphone drivers, but that company doesn't brag about it.) And plain ferrite magnets are CRAP (Sony's very-low-end mid- and full-sized headphones use ferrite magnets - and note that their sound is utterly muddy, with no detail whatsoever compared to the very same designs that use neodymium magnets, however mediocre the latter sound).
As for "50mm drivers are better than 40mm drivers", that isn't always the case! There are TOO MANY variables in the design of headphones to generalise that statement! I've heard of some models of headphones with 50mm drivers actually produce LESS low bass response (but more mid-bass response) than the same brand's headphones (different model) with 40mm drivers. (Thus, for that brand, the ones with 50mm drivers actually sound BOOMIER, not deeper, than the 40mm-driver-equipped ones.)
