I think my obsession is dying. Right now I have it narrowed down to Sennheiser HD 580's paired with a JMT Pimeta amp. This modest combo sounds great to me, but I've even gotten rid of my portable stuff. I kind of want just ONE pair of headphones. Something that sounds really great when I'm laying in bed and something that's efficient enough to be powered by my discman/mp3 player. This is probably an impossible request... but oh well.
